Sissy

Delayed on our return trip, we were able to spend one more day in our hotel in Chania. But then we were delayed again! Now we took a taxi into the terminal to check out everything and wound up spending the night at The Sissy Village.

Nice. Our place had a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, bedroom, bath, 2 TVs and more - including two private balconies, one of which was large enough to have two dorways, one leading to the dining room and kitchen, the other to the bedroom. The large balcony overlooked one of the lighted swiming pools. The place has Wi-Fi so you can send out words and find out what's been going on in the rest of the world, also check on schedules and other things.
The staff was probably the most helpful I have ever seen anywhere. Eating places are not great around there but there are some and you can have delivery to your room. Pizza, gyros, etc. The photos on this blog were made from the balcony outside of our bedroom.

Tomorrow we are off for Naples, Shannon, Norfolk and home. 061022
